paint stuff

We had a good night. I let my brother actual babysit for the first time. For several hours. We went to Chilis, half price books just cause it was right there and I was hoping to see a friend who works there, home depot to look at paint colors and get light bulbs, starbucks for drinks, the mall to walk around a bit, then we headed home. My brother did a good job with the boys. They were all asleep when we got home at 9 (we left at 6). Lochy woke the second I walked into the room though. That boy just knows when his mama is around after shes been gone awhile. We made some decorating decisions tonight. It's about time we did something nice to this place!! It's quite boring. White/off-white walls. Blech. We need to make it ours and stop the illusion of a rental. LOL So we'll be doing "Painting days" soon. Anyone who wants to help is welcome to join us. Should be fun.

The kids rooms will be the geography for Jer, of course. We got a postcards book of antique maps at half price books. I have to decide what to do with that. There are about 3 of the same image, I think 5 different ones though. We may "border" the room with them instead of using wallpaper. We'll see. . . And K & L's room will be castle, knight, swords, etc. We got a Shrek2 rug tonight at home depot. I don't know if we're going to paint in there or not. We'll see. . . Maybe a castle on one wall or something cool like that. Need to find me an artist. haha. Actually, a high school friend of my brother & sisters is going to be taking pics of the boys for me soon. I need to give him a call, have his # in my phone. I have 2 pictures of his for my kitchen. So yeah. huh? where did that all come from.
