mamaness's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- our vacation My sister ended up having to take her test on Wednesday - she got to the DMV too late Monday. Anyway she passed, of course, yay. I've heard she is enjoying her car and license already! We had our spring break trip to Tyler. Lots of fun, and we met Robbi today. That was awesome. I love meeting my online friends that i've known for years. In Tyler we went to the zoo, and museums (model train, aviation, world of wildlife, goodman-old house w/ lots of antiques etc). We went swimming in our hotel (indoor pool). We drove around the town, drove by the rose gardens but we didn't stop because they didn't look too pretty from the car. We'll have to do that another time of year. It was fun for our first real family vacation (other vacations have been with extended family, or for a family type event). We even went shopping at outlet stores on the way home, and we had Dairy Queen which is ALL OVER East Texas, but a bit harder to find here (we know of one). I need to go.
